never too much vs too little

Hi dear colleagues,

In one of the tests I came across the following sentence:
There īs _______ time in life to do the things that are really enjoyable.
a) never too much    b) too little

The correct answer, according to the book, is b)

What īs wrong with option a) ?

 Thanks in advance

The point of the sentence is that there isn īt enough time for it, so "too little" is the correct choice. There is nothing wrong with option a grammatically, but it isn īt a logical choice.

I īve been thinking of how to phrase this answer succinctly. In  the meantime, Bruce has done it.
