I want to know - the usage of infinitive TO in this sentence. " I definitely recommend many people to take this course!" plz explain this : )

I don �t think this sentence is correct. It should be "I definitely recommend that many people take this course". You could use "advise" instead with "to". "I definitely advise many people to take this course."
