Transformations
|
Hi dear friends, I need your help once again. Is this transformation correct?
I would be happier if nobody else was told about the bonus. want
I don t want anybody else to be told about the bonus.
The thing is that the instructions say that I can only use between two and five words but I can t think any other solution.
Thanks. |

How about this?
Could I want follow with subjunctive?
I don t want (that) anybody else is told about the bonus--go to base form after the clause.
I don t want anybody else be told about the bonus.

Thanks a lot for your answers, then if I don t use infinitive , told is considered subjunctive?

What does the original question look like? Like this?
I don t ......about the bonus.
If so, your answer is okay. |

No, wait a minute. You have to do it in 5 words, right?
How about,
I don t want anyone else told about the bonus. You don t need the "to be". |

"I want nobody else be told about the bonus" is not correct. I just thought of "Don t tell anybody else about the bonus". Bruce |
