a nice movie for 12 year olds?
|
Our last class with our 6th graders before the passover break of almost 3 weeks is a double period (90 min). We would like to watch a movie with them (60 kids) but we are out of ideas.
Do you have any movie to recommend?
It can be funny or more serious but should be something that captivates them for the double class and is age appropriate. (they consider themselves very mature☺)
(and of course be English spoken) |

The Goonies usually goes over pretty well and it is one they are likely not to have already seen.

"Scarface" with Al Pacino is a very cerebral movie that your students might enjoy... if not, "Holes" is very enjoyable alternative. Ed |

How about "Happy Feet 2"?
You can explore the environment theme and the movie is very interesting at all.

wow, Holes is great indeed. I hope the teacher of the English speakers doesn t object (i think they were reading it),
Most of the disney movies are a bit too childish/sweet for them. They are a very tough bunch/ I don t know the movie the croods but will check it for sure. Thank you all for your suggestions! |
