Hi people. I am teaching quantities and I have some doubts. The problem is that I don�t know where to look for the answers .Is it OK to say:a) a tub of margarine? b) a crate of tomatoes? a a chunk of cheese d) a vegetable patch e) a roast meat f) a ............of passion ?

e) should be �a joint of meat �, or just �a roast � The rest are fine. b) a crate is a big item. If you were buying say, 6 tomatoes, they would be in a packet. d) a vegetable patch is a space you have in the garden for growing your own vegetables. I �m afraid I can �t help you with f). Maybe a kettleload of passion? :) I �m looking forward to other suggestions... |
