Closure or closing?

Dear colleagues,

I have tests to assess and I have a dilemma. Are both words in the following sentence correct or not?

-When large profits fail to materialize it can often result in the business facing CLOSURE -CLOSING soon after New Year.

I know the noun CLOSURE is OK, however, I m not sure whether it is natural to use the  gerund CLOSING. Can you help me, please?

Thank you.

"Closing" is definitely grammatically correct, but it doesn t sound quite right to my native ears. We tend not to use two "-ing" forms together. We might say "the business being faced with closing", though.
