There are a few grammar and punctuation errors in this.
Tourist s first line should say "...I m not sure..." rather than "I m sure".
a) There should be a comma before "please."
b) should not be capitalized, and should read "how long it takes by train"
Travel agent s sentences should begin with a capital letter.
Is that OK is a separate sentence, so there should be a period before it and it should be capitalized, and end with a question mark.
Thank you should not have a question mark.

Bruce, can you explain why is the sentence "How long does it take by train?" wrong, please?

Shouldn t it have the auxiliary "do", since it is a question? Or has it something to do with the construction with "how long"? I would have written the same way as in the above excercise, that s why I am asking... :/

Thanks in advance!

Sorry but i think we say :How long is it by train?

or How long does it take to get there by train ?

also  :" i m not sure"  instead of  "i m sure"

No interrogative after "Thank you."

In my humble opinion:

Can you tell me how far it is from London?

How long does it take by train?

How much is the return ticket?

Can I book my ticket for tomorrow morning, please?

I hope not. Ive never thought of that! Confused But theoretically it is possible. Anhar, are you there? Could you shed a bit of light on the question, please? Wink

@Kita19,
It s because of "Can you tell me".
Can you tell me how long it takes by train?

Similarly, in your question, you need to move "is". Can you explain why the sentence "How long does it take by train?" is wrong, please?

I hope this helped.
