Hey there! I teach English at preschool levels (4-5 years old kids). They love circle activities where they can sit down , stand up, follow instructions and play but I have run out of ideas. Would you please help me! Thanks in advance ; )

What about teaching them some animals from pictures like ; elephant, dog, cat, bird, snake, monkey, lion. Animals you can mime or make a noise like. An elephant you can raise your arm from your face like a trunk and make a noise like the animal. 1 Do the actions with the teacher. Teacher says word and children repeat and copy action. 2 Teacher says the word and students do the action. 3 Guess the animal the teacher is doing. 4 Who can do the action quickest when the teacher says the word (slowest person sits down). 5 Students pretend to be an animal, winner goes next. 6 Guess the flashcard. They seem to enjoy it. Darryn.

When my guys are tired or fed up, we sometimes play 11. 1. Stand in a circle. 2. Count round the circle. RULE: Each student can say one, two or three numbers - no more. 3. Whoever has to say 11 and it cannot be missed out - is out and has to sit down. 4. Continue until there is a winner.
My guys love this and we vary it with 21. However, I always have to put up with hissy fits from bad losers and my guys are all aged over eleven! |

Engaging preschoolers with circle activities has been incredibly effective in fostering their social and cognitive skills. I love how gender reveal confetti these activities encourage group participation, communication, and focus. Whether its singing songs, storytelling, or sharing, circle time creates a sense of community and helps young children develop important foundational skills.
