need help from a native speaker please!

Hello!
today I made a phonetic alphabet for next school year - I
ve realized over the years that pronounciation is really tough for my
French pupils... (the idea is not mine, http://sitasima.pagesperso-orange.fr/phono_fichiers/phono.htm)
I
ve made a worksheet (a bookmark actually which will be uploaded soon i
hope) and i d like to make a powerpoint with sounds, but i m not a
native speaker and although my pronounciation isn t that bad it s far
from perfect so i d like a native speaker to record the expressions
below... could someone eventually record it? if it were possible to
pause for 5 seconds between each expression so I can easily cut the
recording later with audacity it would be totally awesome!!!
here is the list: a big pig - a red hen - a black cat - a hot dog - a funny duck - a good bull a brown cow - a grey snake - a wild tiger - a scary bear - a fearful deer - an old goat an American gorilla a blue kangaroo - a small horse - a dark shark - a purple bird - a green sheep a
happy hedgehog - a yellow unicorn - a white wolf - a thin panther - a
mother and a father - an orange giraffe - a shy fish - a cheeky chimp
thank you so much for your help!!!

Hello Elojolie274 It just happens that when I read your post I was using audacity, preparing stuff for my radio show. I have recorded the list, if you wish me to send it to you, send me a pm with an email address, and i will. all the best

This is a great idea! I hope the recordings you received were of suitable quality. If you could share the resource here, I would really appreciate it.
Feel free to PM me if you need another version of the recording. |

Try http://www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/learningenglish/grammar/pron/ where all the hard work is done for you. Downloadable from the videos link on that page. It will take some time, as there are 45 clips and PDF files (44 sounds and one Intro) @ some 400Mb. But they are worth the trouble, I can assure you (and anyone else). Cheers, Peter.
