Hi Everybody!
Just got back from a 4-day metal festival, watched the World Cup Final, and came to work this morning to discover I had won the Word Of the Day contest--sorry for the delay.
Heres the newest word for you to play with and get creative with:
poutine
Remember we are looking to stimulate our creative juices here and have a little fun while we are at it--so please dont give a dictionary definition nor get too pedantic.
Cheers,
Douglas |

It s a nickname for a sulky little girl who didn t get her Disney princess gear.
pout: sulk
-ine: feminine suffix
Example: "The poutine is upset because she got a Pocahontas t-shirt for her birthday instead of Elsa." |

Well, we have daily routines and perennial poutines, meaning it lasts indefinitely. In MMs example, the sulky little girl might just have one day of sulking over her birthday pressie or it could just be one never ending sulk, AKA a poutine.

It s my mother-in-law s middle name!! How did you find out about it??
It s her routine to pout and sulk , no matter what we do, or what we don t do, and we never know what will set off her pouting fits. So we changed her name to Poutine. Saves us from wondering what we did wrong this time ....
