Dear Thalia, A friend of mine created a Webquest to work this subject with her students. She is a Portuguese teacher, but you can create your own She chose the film Depicable Me. Students saw the film and then discussed their behaviour in relations to others, the importance to respect the school rules, the necessity to have good relationship with classmates, teachers, and public servents. She prepared a list of activities to develop with her students such as: -See the film - In groups of 4 or 5 discuss the good and bad atitudes in relation their behaviour at school -Give examples -Create posters to encourage students to have good attitudes at school. If you want I can send you the webquest but it is in Portuguese. Just send me your email. A hug, Ju |

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vIA28AZwuo4 is a video called the meanest girl in 2nd grade.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DmqRNu_Wzbc is a video explaining respect of people, places, and things. The teacher speaks kind of fast, so maybe you could pause the video after each sentence and speak his sentences slowly for your class (or translate or explain what he said).
http://www.storylineonline.net/thank-you-mr-falker/ is a 16 minute story about how a real life children s book author overcame a learning disability and being bullied. Thank You Mr. Falker is the title. It has subtitles in English. |
