Hi everyone,
I have an 11 year old chinese student who cannot speak any english at all but is crazy about computer games. Does anyone know of any computer games i can download to my laptop which he can play and learn simple vocabulary at the same time? I usually try and inspire my students by using something they are passionate about to get them interested . Any ideas anyone? |

hi! i think you can find many programs at a computer store.
I bought one for very young learners called "Hooked on English" i don �t know the exact link but if you google it, you can find if they sell it in your country (which im sure they do!) i also bought one for not no young learners and it has vocabulary games, tests and many things wich my students love. Here in mexico I found them at Coscto and Best Buy, but I don �t know in your country, as I told you, I think any computer store is good.

I love "Tell me more" It �s quite complete, has a great variety of exercises and my students get easily engaged with it. |

did you ever play Reading Rabbit as a kid? that might be fun (and you should be able to find a free download somewhere because it �s so old)...
