Dear teachers! Is it incorrect to say - to study IN a foreign school? Or should I say _ AT a foreign school? Thanks in advance

to study AT school ( a place of work and studying is used with AT
to be IN a/the school (inside the school building)

In American English, I think we say, He goes to a certain type of school instead of he studies at a certain type of school We also don �t usually say a foreign school but identify the type of school, for example, He goes to a French school or he goes to an international school, or he studies abroad. But, if you are forced to use the verb studies because a textbook requires you to, I agree with korovadaisy: He studies at a foreign school. |
