The difference is that �try � implies failure and �do ��leads to success. Linguistically they may be regarded as being the same or similar, but psychologically there is a huge difference. There may be no success without failure, but a positive attitude doesn �t say "Try your best" and give up after the going gets touch,�but real positive people say �"Do your best" and when you fail, "Do it again" and "Keep going."�This despite the evidence on the Web hat successful people keep saying "the tried" instead of "I did." Hence the confusion of the two being the same. Hope this helps, Peter �
