How many correct answers did you have?
|
Hello After marking a quiz in class, you have students write the number of their correct answers on their quiz sheet. And you want to ask the number. What would you say? How many correct answers did you have/get? How many correct answers have you had/got? What s the number of the correct answers? What s your marks? Thanks and have a joyful last Monday of the year! Ttuffi, I don t usually ask. I go Put your hand up if you got 10 . Hands up if you got 9. Etc..... Until 5 (or whatever is half the available marks.) Who got less than 5? Oh dear, must try harder next time! Or in the situation you mention, Add up your score and write it in a circle at the bottom. |

I like Cunliffe s answer the best--short and sweet! "How many did you get right?" is also OK. "How many correct answers did you get ?" is also OK. "What is your score?" (numerical) "What is your grade?" is the American equivalent of mark (Letter grade)

Thanks you, cunliffe and redicamarocruiser. My students are adults and they don t care much about their marks. Oh, scores. Right, redicamarocruiser? But I need to know the number of right answers to record (for a kind of paper work) so I simply ask a question rather than gather their sheets and check myself. ^^
