I need some help

Hello everyone!
I have to prepare a short performance with the children aged 5-6. I need some chants or rhymes which are followed by the action movements. Do you know any websites where I can find them? Maybe some of you know such kinds of chants? Thank you in advance. |

How about a cute song - There were 10 in the bed and the little one said, roll over.
See it here on You Tube

You can use the Tommy Thumb rhyme to introduce not the fingers, but the students. One of the SS comes out (the more confident one) and sings: S1 : Ma-ry, Ma-ry, where are you? (she jumps out) S 2: Here I am, Here I am! And how are you? S 1&2: Ro-meo, Ro-meo, where are you? S3 : Here I am, here I am! And how are you?
(repeat till all the SS are on the stage, and then they can chant or sing or act out whatever...) P.S. If you can t find the song i might be able to send it to you via email.

A zillion years ago, when I taught privately, I put on a parents night and I had puppeteers and marionettes(dressed like Pinocchio).
The puppeteers were holding the strings of their marionettes and pretending to move their hands and feet (the marionettes had the strings tied to their wrists and ankles . )
The marionettes sang the following as the puppeteers made them dance:
Ive got strings,
To tie me down,
To make me laugh,
To make me frown.
I dont have my liberty,
Ive got strings on me.
Then someone cut the strings: and they sang and danced.
Ive got no strings,
To tie me down,
To make me laugh,
To make me frown.
Now, I have my liberty,
There are no strings on me.
The parents loved it.
The kids also sang Row, row, row, your boat. (with the kids starting at different times.)
Parents love seeing their kids doing something. As long as they perform in English they will eat it up.
