I have no clue about which verb to use. Can anybody help me??

You can do a show, put on a show, put a show together. That is you creating the show. If you are taking part, then perform in a show, have a part in a show...

Hi Yolanda,
 
As a Brit, I would probably say: "To put on a show", but of course, we talk about a good "performance".

We do a show or put on a show. When you �re in the show, you perform.  Some performers make a fool of themselves..
