I think you īll find the words in the average text - newspaper, book etc. They are the most common words.
I don īt know of any specific books but maybe someone does. |

Fry īs 1000 most used words are like the Dolch words. These are the most used words, as they are likely to appear in children īs books. Get your hands on any child īs book, widely available as kids prefer tablets nowadays, and you īll have your sentences. Cheers, Peter |

I suggest Graded Readers. They are available in different levels. Have a look here or here or here.(Mind: some are Kindle editions, so choose paperbacks for classroom use.) |
