Hi! A mob is a large hostile group of people. We often see it in word pairs, i.e. mob rule, mob justice etc. Glare, in this context, means to look at somebody or something with a hostile expression. Clamour in the context of a mob means the loud hostile noise they make or loud hostile demands. |
