possessive pronoun

dackala
Serbia

possessive pronoun

I don t know if the following sentence is ok. I don t know why it sounds strange.

 * Paul is preparing for his last exam and Sara is preparing for hers.

 Thanks in advance

Hi, dackala,

To me it sounds Ok,
the Absolute Possessive Pronoun (hers) here serves to avoid a repetition (i.e. her exam)

Cheers, Giorgi
