HELP

Hi verybody

Just one question:

"lead to " is followed by a noum. But can it be followed by a gerund or never a gerund?

For instance in this sentence "You can suffer from insomnia if you drink too much coffee", when I rephrase it  with lead to

couldit be?:  Drinking too much coffee leads to suffering from insomnia

Thanks in advance

Definitely.

Studying leads to getting good grades.

Eating one piece of cake can lead to wanting more..
