Spelling English Subjects

History  or history ?
Can you help and explain?
Thanks a lot!

If you are talking about the subjects you study at school use capitals because they are the titles of your subjects.
I study Mathematics and Science at school.
If you are speaking in a general way capitals aren īt needed..
This is a history book. We were studying the geography of Asia last week.
