Yes, SVeira, redcam and Bruce are right, of course, but I liked �who could it be? � Korova-daisy points out the natural utterance.

"who could it be?" sounds nice, but there are two problems with it:

1. It isn �t a question tag, which is what was requested.

2. The comma isn �t correct with it., since it separates two independent clauses without a conjunction. It needs a semi-colon or a period (full stop).
