possessive noun

Hi English speakers around the world. I need your help with a grammar case related to the use of possessive noun ( s) I should write: A- what is Mary s mother name? B-what is Mary mother s name? C-what is the name of Mary s mother? I think is incorrect to use double possessive, like this: What is Mary s mother s name? I d appreciate your explanations and comments

Double possessives are fine. What is Mary s mother s name? is right.

Lynne is correct. Double possessives are fine and sound totally natural.

What is Mary s mother s name?

Your father s brother s daughter s son is your son s second cousin.

OK. I understood. I was really confused with this, but now I see it is not complicated. One more question Bruce and Lynne: are the other examples I wrote completely wrong? I mean there is a possibilty of using one of them or I should always use doble possessive noun. Thank you again. By the way Bruce, excellent example. I loved it
