Looking for a song

Hello everyone! Could you tell me where this song is from? It starts like this: "We get up at 8 o clock It s time to start the day We finish school at 3 o clock We always shout HOORAY We meet our friends at 4 o clock And then it s time to play We re happy all the time..." I thought it was from Round-up textbook but I can t find it anywhere. I really like it and I need it for my Present Simple Tense lesson. It s a beautiful and very useful song. Thanks for your help in advance. |

Hi Ildik, Here is the song you wanted: We get up at eight oclock Its time to start the day We finish school at three oclock We always shout HooRay! We meet our friends at four oclock And then its time to play! Were happy all the time! We are happy in the morning Were happy in the evening We are happy at the weekends Were happy all the time! On Mondays we play tennis And we sometimes watch TV On Wednesdays we play football Or we climb our favourite tree On Fridays we play basketball And everyone can see Were happy all the time! We are happy in the morning Were happy in the evening We are happy at the weekends Were happy all the time! In the summer we can swim And play out in the sun In winter we play in the snow And have a lot of fun! In autumn we play with the leaves Its fun for everyone Were happy all the time! We are happy in the morning Were happy in the evening We are happy at the weekends Were happy all the time!
If you need the mp3 file for the childrens song with these words above (for teaching prepositions of time and simple present), please PM me with your email address.
The original tune is from these old songs: John Browns Body/The Battle Hymn of the Republic/Mine Eyes Have Seen the Glory, but, as As Cinquo Quinas mentioned to me, the lyrics of those original ones are not so useful for teaching elementary students! :-))

Hi Ildikó, Please check your private message. It might be a good idea to delete this post now because you will get a lot of spam if you leave your email address on the forum. :-) Tap |
