Thank you Lynne for choosing me as the winner of the word of the day competition! Here is the new word. Remember, we don t want the real meaning! Please let your associations run wild, and give your funny, smart, deep, or just silly meaning for the word: AGELAST I will choose a winner whenever I have time |

This is the motto of the Old Fogeys 4U . The Old Fogeys 4U are in the vanguard of wiping out ageism. When looking at a person s worth, they insist that the age is the least important consideration. Intelligence, kindliness, beauty, helpfulness etc.... rank those as you will, but you should always rank the person s age last. |

Somewhere along Lynne s lines: AGELAST - the 30-years-later remake of Alphaville s Forever Young
P.S. with everything thats been happening in the world lately this song has meaning again...

"last" in German means load or burden. So agelast must mean that burden that age puts on you such back pain, creaky bones, random muscle and joint pain. (Being Monday morning I am currently experiencing a bit of agelast).
Cheers,
Douglas |
