Is this sentence correct??

Like all other days, it was very quiet in Lembort, the remote and the forgotten village. What s wrong with this sentence?? One of my students wrote this sentence and I think it s not correct? Am I right???

I would leave out the second "the".

Like all other days, it was very quiet in Lembort, the remote and forgotten village.

Marion s suggestion is grammatically correct, but I think it would sound more natural to say:
Like all other days, it was very quiet in the remote and forgotten village of Lembort.

I have a creepy feeling that a native speaker would say

"Like any other day(s)"

instead of

"Like all other days "

I agree with all the other posts. So it depends how much you want to correct the student.

Hi Donia

I started to respond yesterday and got side-tracked. But my response was the same as MarionG - it sounds better without the second article.

Cheers
