My students always keep asking me the following question: How do you say "exentar un examen" in English?" and I don t know the answer. Does anybody know? |

Pass out the exam? Free from the exam? Exempt the exam? I don t know. |

The Oxford Spanish Dictionary says that "exentar" is a Mexican word meaning "to exempt," as in "some medical conditions exempt you from military service" or "a high grade may exempt you from the exam." Hope this helps! |

You might mean an exam exemption . This means the student is exempt from doing the exam - they would be credited with passing their study without having to sit their exam.
Just an idea. If I find out more I ll let you know... |
