What would you call the upper part of a ball or round thing?. I am talking about a round earring and I wonder how to describe it.
Upper part of the earring? Or upper half? Or....
Lower part of the earring? Or lower half? Or....
Or just top and bottom?

I haven �t ever thought about this! I think if I had a problem with an earring and needed it fixing, and it was the top part or top bit that needed fixing, rather then the bottom bit/part, that �s how I would put it. |
