Hello dear colleagues..

How can you express the following sentence differently using (should)

I regret not having revised my lessons last night,but i decided to watch TV .

I would say: "I should have revised my lessons last night but I decided to watch TV instead."

I added "instead" to the sentence because I think it stresses the idea of regret.
