Hi, This is how I would change the sentence using "had": Steven said that taking the medicine had made him feel better. I hope this helps! |

However weird that sounds, perhaps that was the intention of the sentence author: " Steven said that taking the medicine had made him feel so good". let s keep our fingers crossed |

I can be really dumb! Of course the sentence ends in "good"! So I think joannajs is absolutely right! |

I think that one way to do to successfully transform this sentence can run as follows: Steven said that taking medicine made him feel more than good. I hope it sounds well. |

"Had made him feel good." can be correct if you are talking about his emotional state. If we talk about health, we always use "well" How are you? I´m very well. John doesn´t feel very well. When you describe someone´s emotional state, we use" good " I don´t feel good about breaking up with Peter. Hope this helps! |
