I understand your eagerness at being corrected dear Ninaone! However if I were the student asking for correction, I would make sure I gave a proper and clean and easy to decipher copy of my work! Unless you do this, I doubt any of the honourable teachers at this place will condescend to help you!! In short, you are being very irrespectful! But that s only my opinion!! |

most of the tasks are done already !!
at the top: interference/attendance/extension/recognition correct forms of the verbs: were built/were used/speaks/I would have come complete the second sentence - if she had invited me I would have gone to her party
- SHE INSISTED THAT i HAD TO VISIT THEM
- He is thought to be a genius
- you are advised to try again
As for the other questions there are many possibilities/options PS. I don t understand the last writing topic !!!What does the writer mean? strange!!!!!!!
ninon was right in wondering:
Part 2: written expression. Question 2. Is that a joke?

In #2 of the third section, about foreign technical assistants, I can t make sense of the sentence with any verb form. What does it mean to "exceed their prerogatives", and what do foreign technical assistants do in order to accomplish it? And who do they assist????? The sentence seems like someone just strung together some random words (of the correct parts of speech), without any regard to forming an intelligible sentence. Bruce |

hi I think the writer of the sentence wanted to say this foreign technical assisstance was accepted to overcome home incompetencies this is what I inferred though the sentence doesn t convey that meaning best wishes

In the second sentence of task V There should be subjunctive forms: She insisted that I/we should visit them. Or: She insisted that I/we visit them. In the fourth sentence of task V Id rather use a modal verb: You should try again. As for the foreign technical assistants it seems to me there should be: Foreign technical assistants used to exceed their prerogatives. Thus the sentence refers to the past.
