Hi, First, "advice" is a noun. The verb form is "advise". 1. He advised me to expect success and be ready to start. (The rest of it really isn �t advice) 2. This is a poorly-written sentence, so it is difficult to change. To stay with the original as much as possible, I would say, "If I had known that teaching was so demanding, I could have chosen another job". However, I would prefer "would have chosen" 3. I wish I had not punished him so severely. Bruce |
