I agree with Georgina on most of them. 1. criticize - To say that something or someone is bad or to point out negative aspects 2. beg - To ask someone for food or money because you do not have any 3. democracy - A system of government in which people elect their leaders 4. broadcast - To send out a programme on television or the radio 5. empathise - Able to understand how people feel and to deal with them without hurting them 6. option - One of two or more things you can choose between 7. addiction - The problem of not being able to stop taking or doing something 8. confidednt - Completely certain about something 9. synthesis - A combination of two or more things, substances, styles 10. habit - Something that you do regularly, almost without thinking about it |

9 was supposed to be mixture. i �ll probably add something about dough or baking to my definition 6 was supposed to be alternative. But I suppose option also works. |

FrauSue, you �re really complicating things with all those synonyms of yours... *deep sigh*
I tested the word lists on my students today and was shocked about how hard they found it to find the right words. But as soon as I gave them first letters, they got much better.
