US presidential elections

Hello everyone, This is a little message for my American colleagues. I would like to make my students work on the American presidential elections in September and I am looking for authentic materials to do a reading comprehension activity. Would you have any campaign leaflets of Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump with their main issues that you could scan and send to me? I didn t manage to find any one on the web. Thanks a lot for your help. |

nanette25 Teaching through cartoons might be possibility.... they are fun and one can create a debate based on some hilarious (most of times awkward) remarks made by from both candidates. |

Hi Nanette, I am teaching in China, otherwise I would be glad to help you. I did upload a graphic organizer that helps explain the US Government if you need that sort of resource: http://www.eslprintables.com.es/archivos2/2011/nov/13/eslprintables2011111313261714.doc .Don t hesitate to contact me if you have questions about how the electoral process works. It s quite confusing, really. |

I d focus more on the process and not the actual candidates. |
