Dear miss noor,
before giving an answer to your question, I must correct the sentence first. There are two sentences in this situation:
Who writes the lesson? (I do.)
Who is writing the lesson? (I am)
We usually use the auxiliary when answering a question, so it depends on the tense used.
I consider "me" too informal (and incorrect, too)

That is how I consider it. I always advise my students not to use informal forms or contractions in an essay/examination and to try to have a formal way of expressing themselves.
But maybe there are teachers who do not think the same. I will search for more information. |

Now, how should I write?
ME AGAIN? or
IT IS I AGAIN?
Check this link, you will find it interesting:
I read something: we don t speak the way we write. So maybe it s me and It is I are both correct; it only depends where they are used. |

Olindalima ( F )

Hello, Miss Noor As Domnitza has already pointed out, the first thing to say is that there is a grammar mistake in the question. Questions with WHO must be in third person singular. So, Who writes , who comes, who knows ....
I would say a common answer would be " I do " or She does
Who wrote ... ? I did
When the pronoun WHO is both the question word and the subject of the
sentence/ question, there is no auxiliary verb in the question, ( do / does / did ) but you must give
the answer with it.
In the following sentences there is an auxilioary for the tense, so, you use it in the answer.
Who is writing .. ? I am
Who was writing ... I was
Remember, I am non -native.

Hi, all.
I think that Olindalima ( F ) and domnitza are right as far as the response to the question is concerned. But I can"t feel this question in the present simple regarding the usage of this tense. I agree it is all right in the present progressive or the past simple.
That s just a point of view

I write you write he, she, it writes
We write You (all) write They write.
Practice makes perfect Miss Noor. Writing your questions correctly are imperative for answering correctly.
To Goodnessess You wrote: But I can"t feel this question in the present simple regarding the usage of this tense.
We can only answer the questions which are posted. If Miss Noor meant Who is writing the lessons , then that s what she must write.

Hi, libertybelle
I think sometimes some grammatical points involve we deal with some other so as to make the former more clear.
Now miss noor the answer is clear. It is definitely "I am. She/He is. We are...."
