Dear colleagues,

 

This year I �m going to have a group of senior ESL learners. Most of them are over 65 years old. They �ve never studied English before and I need some really visual material, so that they don �t have to read or write for a long time. I �ve already created some powerpoint presentations and vocabulary flashcards, but I �m looking for videos, listening activities and other types of visual material for a very basic level.

I would appreciate any ideas you can give me. Thanks in advance!

If you search BBC �s site there are plenty of free lessons, videos, listening activities even for absolute beginners.

Actually, I am now using the site to learn Italian and I think it is excellent.

So, I �m pretty sure you �ll find something useful there.
