Has anybody read "Delirium" by Lauren Oliver in class?

Hi dear colleagues, I d like to know wheter anybody has read the dystopian novel "Delirium" by Lauren Oliver in class. It s the first volume of a trilogy. Have you heard of anyone who has, or come across any decent teaching material? If so, I d love to know. elderberry |

A google search turned up a for pay lessonplan 24.99 USD http://www.bookrags.com/lessonplan/delirium/#gsc.tab=0 This site might help as a starting point. https://teachingbooks-wfl.orc.scoolaid.net/tb.cgi?tid=22511 It has some free discussion questions. https://teachingbooks-wfl.orc.scoolaid.net/media/pdf/SingleBGs/Delirium_DiscussionGuide.pdf http://gthompsonportfolio.weebly.com/delirium-unit.html is a lesson plan, but I did not verify the links for the downloads. |

Thanks, Cruiser! Very good of you, you always offer help- I d be interested to know about other people s experiences with this novel in class. The above sites focus on content only, not analysis. Maybe someone out theren studied the dystopian novel in more detail. I ve just finished reading it with my students and must say it went really well. Still hoping for some exchange of experiences.... elderberry |
