Hello to all of you, I �m working on a project dealing with Victorian times and I desperately need your help with the following sentence (I seem to be losing my grammar....): Families crowded in small houses which had been built cheaply and quickly and where / in which sanitation was dreadful. Which relative pronoun do I have to use? Where or in which? Thank your for your help and your time. Murielle

I think either of those is fine. If I had to choose, I would probably go for �in which �. |
