I don �t think "Let �s have a try" is used in the US.
Normally, we wouldn �t use "Let �s have a go!" as a complete sentence. Rather, it would be "Let �s have a go at ..." followed by a noun or a gerund phrase.

I�ve heard both of them that�s why I wondered if they both were correct.
 
Maybe "try" is more British English than American English... I don�t know
