Hi, :) I am a teacher in Quebec, Canada, I have 50 students between the ages of 12 and 15 years old, their first language is French and they are learning English as a second language. I would like to do a cultural box exchange with a class from another country. In the box we include letters in which the students talk about themselves, what they like about their country and what makes their country unique. Also in the box we include souvenir gifts representing our culture like flags, postcards, small food items,stickers, cds.... we send the box at the same time so we receive it at the same time. Hi! I think this is a great idea! I am a music teacher for middle school and maybe we could make it a music themed box??? But wouldnt it be expensive to ship???? |

Hello Roxanne, I am very interested in this project.... I wrote you an email Good morning Roxanne, I am an English teacher in Rianxo, a small seatown in the northwest of Spain. I have 118 students, aged from 10 to 12, divided in six classes (5th and 6th grade) I was interested in starting a penpal project but the box idea is better, so I would love to collaborate.... i am going to send you two links, one about our hometown, and the other about our school in case you want to show your students.
