"Big Yellow Taxi" by Joni Mitchell is a famous environment song.
You could also try Depeche Mode - The Landscape is Changing.
Tom Paxton -  "Whose Garden Was This"is nice but maybe a bit boring for your pupils, although the words are very clear and easy to understand: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=msKYLHwqvW4

There are some good suggestions and links here: https://eia-international.org/sounds-green-to-me-10-top-environmental-songs

You could have students break into groups and study the lyrics of different songs on the "Green" album by the band REM. This 1980s album was before it s time cultivating awareness of human impact on the environment.
