Kohai is right. If you did mind, this would cause difficulty for a lot of Brits and they would get horribly embarrassed. You would say something like, �I �m sorry, I haven �t got any credit left, � or �I �m sorry, it �s not charged up � or some other little white lie  |

In the US, some people would respond with a white lie, as well, but being direct is also possible: "I �m sorry, I don �t lend out my phone." |
