Hi! Could you pls help me? I´ve been googling but haven´t been able to come up with an equivalent for "suelto" in English. I need this word for a student of mine who loves natural, organic food and usually goes to whole food stores to do the shopping. So she is used to buying "harina suelta" (flour which doesn´t come in a packet), sugar, corn starch, spices, etc. THanks in advance!!!! Have a great week |

Hi, That would probably be "bulk flour" (at least in the US). Food that is found in bins in the store, and you get the amount you need, is called "bulk food". Bruce |

newuser07: "Loose flour"; "Bulk flour"; "Unbagged flour"; "Unpacked flour"; "Flour from the sack": "Flour, but not in a bag"; "Can you weigh me some flour, please?" These are just a few suggestions that come to me. Les Douglas |

Thanks, Les. We would say "loose flour" here, too. Bruce |
