Hi,

I �ve always said "the Internet" (with the article) but I have just seen an exam from a Spanish university asking "Is Internet addictive?". Can you tell me which is correct?

Hi, Isabel,

The question "Is internet addictive?" could be using "internet" as if it were a substance (like marijuana or heroin) in a clever way. On the other hand, if that is not the intent, then I would say that it is a mistake. Aside from that clever usage, it should be "the internet".
