FINAL TASK FOR TECHNOLOGY LESSON PLAN?
|
Dear partners, I start the year with my students with a lesson unit about Technology (Internet, digital devices, etc...). They are about 10-12 years old, they are in the 5th and 6th degree. In the unit we will work with Present Continuous. So I need IDEAS for the FINAL TASK, in the FINAL TASK of my lessons I always, or at least try, integrate the four skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) and I also try that an interaction exists. They are some of the requirements needed . DO you have any ideas?? CAN YOU HELP ME please? I only have very simple ideas on my mind and they do not integrate 4 skills. THANKS IN ADVANCE!! |

I dont know if this would be ok for your students, but it may give you an idea. Could they demonstrate using one device they have studied? The components could be WRITING the script they will follow in their presentation. SPEAKING is involved when they give the demonstration orally. They can use present continuous to describe the actions they are performing on the device. Example: I am pressing the on button. I am entering my passcode. I am connecting to the internet. I am checking my email. I am opening an email attachment. It is a document. The student can begin reading READING the document aloud. They can practice LISTENING by taking questions from the classmates and teacher, and answering them would be speaking again. Or they could access a youtube video, or audio file on the device, and paraphrase it to show their understanding. Alternately, they would be practicing WRITING if they prepare some comprehension questions about the audio file or video, and distribute the questions to the class, When the whole class listens to the audio file, the student can go over the answers of their classmates to the comprehnsion questions. |
