Hi to all!!
I loved all the entries, each of them funnier... But unfortunatly there must be only one winner, and after thinking a bit I know who made me laugh more:

 No, no, no! I�m afraid Maryse Pey� is mistaken. Apoptosis is the cause of serious family problems. It occurs in families whose main patriarch, the father, or pop, has stopped washing and starts to stink. They have a case of apoptosis = a smelly father. 

Btw, Dale... There is a spanish word "apestosis" that actually means more or less the same you wrote. It´s not a real word, the real one is "peste" but in slang we could use it.

The real definition acording to oxford dictionary of the word APOPTOSIS is:

The death of cells which occurs as a normal and controlled part of an organism´s growth or development.
