Hello everyone!!

All teachers at the language center I currently work for will receive a special training on teaching techniques for the next four weeks. I am really looking forward to it!!

As a first task, we have all been asked to prepare a communicative activity and present it to our fellow teachers.

The thing is, I am out of idea - and of time, to be honest.

Anybody would lend me a hand on this? Can any of you help me get a start or recommend any website or material to get inspiration from?

What about using think pair and share as a communicative activity. (idea 1)

What I did yesterday, was a picture story in which students practiced Simple Past Tense, it was really good having students talking and agreeing which picture is the first, after they organize the pictures acording to their choice, they write it and the last task is to tell it out to the class.

Students work in groups, and if you give me your email, I can send you the activity. It �s from the American Headway starter teacher �s resource book. that book has lots of communicative activities. if you have it, give it a look ancd you will find it very useful. (idea 2)
