Yes, that is fine. You might also say She did some travelling in England in 2012. |

It is grammatically correct but sounds a bit odd and artificial to me. Did she travel to England from another country, and then travel around England? Did she do a tour of England? Is it part of a CV? You could also say "she toured England in 2012" or "In 2012 she had a working holiday in England". |

My opinion is that you should use have or take a Holiday not do a Holiday. |
