Hi everyone! I�d like to ask you about using and or but or both in the following sentence :try surfing the net, it�s like using an encyclopedia index,..... it�s much more fun. Thanks😊

Try surfing the net, it�s like using an encyclopedia index, and..... it�s much more fun.�OK� And adds another neutral fact/opinion to your statement.
Try surfing the net, it�s like using an encyclopedia index, but..... it�s much more fun.�OK But offers a contrast to the suggestion, comparing using the index to using the internet.
The combination of "and but" would not work.�
